with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Biology. While working at Lutheran Hospital, he took a post-graduate course

Practice
history: Dr. and Mrs. Krieger had a dental practice for 4 years in Brush, Colorado.
In 1983, they moved to Elizabeth to be closer to family. (Mrs. Krieger's aunt and uncle Janet and Nelson Waterworth
were fixtures in the Elbert Post Office and agricultural community for many years.) They bought the building from
Dr. Mike Iacoboni who began the dental office in 1977. Teaching and writing experience: One of the reasons Dr. Krieger
moved closer to Denver was to teach at the University of Colorado Dental School. He taught part-time in the 1980's
for five years in the TEAM clinic, while also working his practice. At the same time, he became involved
in freelance writing and radio work. For many years, he was a writer for "The Journal of the Colorado Dental Association.
Dr. Krieger has written articles for "The Pueblo Chieftain" and "The Posse of Denver Westerners".
He also has articles in two Westerners' book publications - "The Brand Book".
Dr. Krieger
worked with Tom Noel and G. Brown to author a souvenir book for the Red Rocks Ampitheater in 2004 - "From Dinosaurs to
Rock and Roll". He also contributed to Noel's 2005 book "Sacred Stones", about Red Rocks
as well. Interests: Dr. Krieger
is a proud booster of all things Colorado! He is particularly passionate about music. He DJ'd school
dances in the 1980's and has performed vocal and guitar solos at various functions around the state, including the
town of Elizabeth. He has written for the "Music Hound" book series, the Colorado Historical Society and music
collecting publications such as "Discoveries" and "Goldmine". Most current musical writings by Dr.
Krieger are on Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Poco, Firefall and the Beatles, as well as CD reviews.
Dr.
Krieger did several radio guest spots with his friend music critic G. Brown. This culminated in the late 1990's
in a Saturday evening show called "Rock Talk", on KHOW with G. Brown and the Heavy Man Pat Porter. He hosted
an internet Saturday oldies show called GoGaGa.com (no longer in existence). He made many guest appearances
on G. Brown's 102.3 KCUV show and Archer's Breakfast with the Beatles on 99.5 The Mountain.

| Alita Hernandez, Dental Assistant |
ALITA
FERNANDEZ COWAN - Dental Assistant:
We are blessed that, in our many years of private practice, we
have had loyal and skilled people working in our office who feel almost like a member of the family. Alita
Fernandez Cowan was recently married in September 2008 to her long time friend of 10 years. Alita is our most recent
employee, coming to us in the spring of 2007. She immediately began receiving on-the-job training, and has also received
her license to take x-rays. Alita has the benefit of knowing the local area very well, having grown up
in Elizabeth and graduating from Frontier High School in 2003. Alita is extremely interested in her work
and her knowledge continues to increase. We are especially grateful to have her help and sunny presence
in the office.
OFFICE BUILDING:
Our dental building, located at 187 E. Kiowa Avenue, was renovated from an old
house built in 1920. At one time, it was the residence of Dr. Bennett MD and was also home to the Mauldin family.
In 1977, Dr. Mike Iacoboni set up his dental practice in the house. Krieger Family Dentistry purchased the building
from him in 1983 and have kept its quaint look. This means it's more roomy than modern dental offices and also has a
cozy, homey look and feel. We can only guess how old the massive trees and front hedges are! Aimee Krieger is
an avid gardener and enjoys planting flowers in front of the building every spring.
