COWAN - Dental Assistant:
We are blessed that, in our many years of private practice, we
have had loyal and skilled people working in our office who feel almost like a member of the family. Alita
Cowan was married in September 2008 to her long time friend of 10 years. Alita is our most recent employee, coming to
us in the spring of 2007. She immediately began receiving on-the-job training, and has also received her license to
take x-rays. Alita has the benefit of knowing the local area very well, having grown up in Elizabeth and
graduating from Frontier High School in 2003. Alita is extremely interested in her work and her knowledge
continues to increase. We are especially grateful to have her help and sunny presence in the office.
Our dental building, located at 187 E. Kiowa Avenue, was renovated from an old
house built in 1920. At one time, it was the residence of Dr. Bennett MD and was also home to the Mauldin family.
In 1977, Dr. Mike Iacoboni set up his dental practice in the house. Krieger Family Dentistry purchased the building
from him in 1983 and have kept its quaint look. This means it's more roomy than modern dental offices and also has a
cozy, homey look and feel. We can only guess how old the massive trees and front hedges are! Aimee Krieger is
an avid gardener and enjoys planting flowers in front of the building every spring.
